Gotcha Day For Faith The RV
I was definitely not in the market for an RV to purchase so I was quite surprised when the Lord put this in my mind. I guess He has a purpose in it and I look forward to seeing what that will be. I plan to call her Faith.
For anyone keeping track of my current projects…
Grace, 1966 Holiday Rambler 20G trailer (exterior almost done, then start rebuilding interior)
Hope, 1975 Vogue 32RS motor home class A (waiting for title then I’ll start rebuild)
Joy, 1999 Ford E250 Cargo Van (getting rust remediation done, then she goes to get mechanically sound)
The shop guy even offered me a job doing restoration work because he doesn’t have anyone right now to do it. I told him I’d keep it in mind but that I stay pretty busy and must be available for my son. He didn’t seem too swayed by that, so who knows maybe it will be a job for me.
The RV is a 1997 Four Winds 5000 28’ class C. There’s some water damage in the cabover section, big surprise there right. There’s also water damage at the dining room seat and jackknife sofa. But it’s minimal. The worst damage is behind the shower wall where it bows away from the shower so that will take some thought on how to fix it. But it’s mechanically sound and they’ll check it all out for me before I pick it up Thursday.
