Made It Home

Having never driven an RV so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve driven trucks and vans. I’ve driven SUVs and cars. I’ve even driven my zero turn towing the gypsy tool wagon I built. But RV driving was new to me. She has “some play” in the wheel. Time will tell what that is all about. Next week I’ll check her fluid levels and see if she’s had any new oil or fluids put in her. I’m not sure how much I can actually do on her, but hopefully I can figure out what needs to be done to be ready to travel over Christmas and get it done.  I was super nervous test driving her and never got above 55 mph even in the 70 mph zone on I95. But I warmed up on the hour long drive home. And except for one time when I felt a rush of adrenaline I did fine. I was driving and a car suddenly out of no where zoomed past me on the left lane in a narrow bridge. That combined two fear triggers for me - bridge and newbie RV driver.
